My most recent project, focused on the work of James Turrell and the exhibition at the MFAH: The Light Inside.
Gabriella currently works and studies in Houston, Texas.
She is currently pursuing her Masters in Liberal Arts with a focus in Art History, from the University of Saint Thomas. She recieved her BA in Art History from University of Houston in 2012.
Gabriella hopes to spend her life working in the arts. She has has many experiences growing up around and working within many of Houston’s great art and cultural venues; Commerce Street Artist Warehouse, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Lawndale Art Center, Holocaust Museum Houston, Childrens Museum Houston, Wade Wilson Art Gallery, and many more.
Gabriella is also an indpendent curator, developing and managing exhibitions of some of Houston’s best and brightest. She has worked with artists like Aimee Jones, Matthew Glover, DUAL, EYESORE, GIVEUP, Daniel Anguilu, Skeez181, Layne Bell, Birdie & Belle, Brittney Imwald-Mahar, Sean Flournoy, Carole Smith. Gabriella has partnered with spaces like Gallery 619, Cha Champagne and Wine Bar, and Brookfield Properties (One Allen Center and 1600 Smith St.)
